clean small WC, efficient room cleaning, quirky charm
Wi-Fi claimed as available but nonexistent!!! Safety concerns with unlit stairwell to rooms, and loose toilet seat needs urgent attention!!! Basic amenities should be upgraded from cheap plastic to something more presentable!!!

The highlight was the baked apples I found at nearby cafes-absolute bliss! Richard, the proprietor, was super accommodating. Ideal for a quick getaway and close to the beach and train.
Being in an older building meant that you could hear your neighbors quite well. There was an inconsiderate couple who chatted loudly until late, and I wouldn't have minded heavier curtains to keep out the morning sunshine.

Loved being just across the road from the beach, perfect for evening swims. Richard provided excellent service, even found a small fridge and microwave when I needed them for my baby. The Beautiful Double Room with Sea View was generally clean and bright. The location near the train station made it easy to explore Margate. I faced some inconveniences, though. The bathroom was very compact, and there was no breakfast service, which would have been a nice touch. Plus, with scaffolding outside, the sea view was obstructed. Not bad, but I hope for improvements on these fronts next time.

The quirky charm of the older building brings a unique character to the experience. A hot tub room styled to evoke a Caribbean getaway adds a nice touch to the stay.
Closely packed rooms amplify noise from inconsiderate neighbors, potentially disrupting a good night's sleep. There is also ongoing work with scaffolding, giving the place a less polished look at.

A quaint touch of nostalgia with the charming retro arcade game available, making my stay feel special.
The lack of accessible Wi-Fi made it difficult to stay connected, frustrating.

A charming stay by the beach
The Burlington Hotel is a good mix of retro charm and modern convenience, ideally located near the beach and the train station. Richard, the owner, added a personal touch and was very accommodating.
The building's age means some noise insulation is lacking, making it easy to hear neighboring guests at night, and low hot water pressure was a minor inconvenience in the sink.

The location right next to the beach was a highlight, ideal for my family, especially our little one who loved the nearby ice cream shops. The room was tidy, well-stocked, and made for a comfortable sleep. The noise from adjacent rooms was quite noticeable was good. It met our needs for a short stay, but improvements could enhance the experience.
